Going through a few of my old blog, I found this whisky review that I'm actually still quite proud of: http://thornd.posterous.com/whiskey-review

I'm really not a refined drinker yet, if it tastes good and is fairly priced then I like it. I don't think I've ever spent more than two sentences describing a drink

Is that the same guy who wrote 100+ reasons to not vote for obama?
I remember one of the reasons was that Obama was inspired Hitler. I don't know what was more painful the irony or that someone actually believes

I'm suprised he thinks that Hitler was a socialist. That's like believing that Richard 'The Hamster' Hammond is an actual hamster.

That a petition started due to boredom, sleep deprivation and being drunk has lead to international coverage

Reddit, Guardian, Piers Morgan, Armando Ianucci, Vanity Fair, Huffington Post, Salon.com, Hollywood Reporter, Daily Mail etc

Could say the same for Jeremy Clarkson. But he's the highest paid guy in the BBC.

You couldn't though, some people do like him. Most people who watch top gear think he's funny. And many people who do "hate" him do it in a "love to hate" kind of way, like he's a pantomime villan. Plus, he's actually punched Piers Morgan, even his harshest critic has to give him that.

Maybe more people hate Clarkson then like him, but he's got his audience. The same could probably be said of Justin Beiber or One Direction or Simon Cowell.

But as far as I'm aware, everyone just thinks Piers Morgan is a knob. I'm sure being a powerful force in the media has been the major factor in him getting where he is, but people have to be watching for it to continue.

EDIT - just heard rockgeeks name read out on BBC Radio 2
