Congratulations!

As for things I like, I like Game of Thrones. I like it alot, in fact, and have thought and talked about little else since Lovefilm started sending the discs. I'm slightly annoyed that I'm going out for dinner tonight, which means not being able to watch the last two episodes we have sitting at home until tomorrow evening.

I was like that with The Wire. Watched the first few episodes when it was on BBC, and thought it was really good. Realised just how much I liked it when I was at a party (a fairly boring works leaving do, but still, booze in a pub) and thought "if I leave now, I'll catch the start of tonights episode"

And well done Erika!

Though Game of Thrones was ok until the start of the 2nd series, then it became a bit to jumbled and it just felt they were trying to squeeze too much into a single episode!

I really enjoyed the wire tho!

I don't know anyone who's got more than 4 or 5 episodes into The Wire without loving it. I know a couple who watched a couple and got bored/didnt think it lived up to the hype, but that's a bit like watching the first 15 minutes of the Godfather or Star Wars and deciding its not all its cracked up to be.

I'm afraid I prematurely shot my wad on what was supposed to be a dry run, so I'm afraid I now have something of a mess on my hands.

I like hearing the Radio 2 newsreader say "Pussy Riot".

I don't think that will ever get old for me.
