21st-23rd, some of us are seeing Limp Bizkit on the 21st and others are seeing Evil Scarecrow, then there are people just coming for the lulz. Come along! I'd invite you to the fb event if I had any idea who you were.

If you're not seeing Limp Bizkit then you have no excuse to not see Evil Scarecrow. They're playing at some pub and tickets are like, 4 quid.

Why anyone would see Limp Bizkit over Evil Scarecrow baffles me. Limp Bizkit are not good. Even when I liked them, I skipped songs on the album.

I was a bit worried my girlfriend wouldn't like Scarecrow when they started the set heavy as hell, but they soon got silly, and it was amazing.

Maybe they won't play the songs you happened to skip?

I don't think "good" means "doesn't get skipped" :P they've got about 4 or 5 decent songs, but the rest just.... nah.

On Chocolate Starfish .. one of the last tracks, there's a loop of him laughing for about 10 minutes or something .. I remember listening to the album and falling asleep and just waking up to Fred Durst's repetitive laughter. I did not like that.

I gave them a go at soni '09 and didn't really enjoy it, they haven't got enough material to keep me interested. But they are too cheesy! I mean '"I'm like a chainsaw, i'll skin your ass raw" wut? :?

Yeah, he's clearly using his chainsaw wrong. Perhaps "I'm like a chainsaw! You'll get really excited when you buy me, chop up a lot of wood on that first weekend, and then leave me in the shed to gather cobwebs for the next fifteen years" didn't scan.

How angry do you have to be to think "I want revenge on this person so badly, but I want to have my own unique brand of revenge! I don't want to chop them up with a chainsaw but I want to cause them bodily harm somehow, skin their knees? no, skin their legs? no skin their ass? that's it!"

Also, a chainsaw is entirely the wrong tool for the job. You'd need something much more precise to skin someone's ass. I know this sounds like nitpicking, but really as a rapper his only job is to come up with clever and evocative rhymes, so this represents a total failure for Fred Durst. I always assumed that Clutch's sole foray into rap-rock Careful with that mic, wheezy was inspired by Limp Bizkit:

What's the matter with you?
How come you rhyme monosyllabically?
Has atrophy stricken your entire vocabulary?
Your style's like a garbage can
It's meant to be taken out on a weekly basis
Ever since you first reckoned
You been in a state of suspended animation
You invoke snuffaluffagus and australopiphecus

Is Fred Durst lactose intolerant?

I think my favourite Durst rhyme is:

Hey kid, take my advice;
You don't wanna step into a big pile of gooseberry.

Wise words indeed Mr Durst. I really wouldn't.

One Limp Bizkit song that just makes me cringe has got to be 'Nookie'

I did it all for the nookie, c’mon,
The nookie, c’mon,
So you can take that cookie,
And stick it up your… yeah!

It belongs in this thread as it's totally romantic *swoons*
