Weird Al Jankovic would be a fantastic booking. Sort of band I see Sonisphere boking as well :D

If he played Amish Paradise my life would be complete.

I actually can kind of see Sonisphere booking them, actually..

I'm all for Weird al. Sod it, make him a saturn stage headliner. Right before ACDC :P

Whats the chances of Judas Priest then? New album out, tour america in the Autumn, back in time for summer festivals in europe. a Friday night headliner?

I would be really disappointed if Weird Al was so high up. Don't want him around at all to be honest, I haven't been able to stand his music since I was 14 and I'm amazed that other people still can.

Tenacious D though...

To some people, yes. Weird Al, meanwhile, both sucks and blows unconditionally with all the voracity of a bipolar vacuum cleaner.

I do want to see some kind of novelty band next year, they're always a laugh, maybe the Village People?

Or just use the slot for a regular band who deserves to be there. Just throwing that one out there.

How do you judge what bands "deserve" to be there. A lot of people criticized booking babymetal as a novelty booking and they didn't deserve to be on the mainstage, but they had probasbly the biggest crowd for an early morning band at any sonisphere so a lot of people clearly enjoyed it - which is surely the bottom line?

I don't want Tenacious D or Weird Al Yankovic 'cause I don't like either. I'm all for a novelty act or two, though; I had loads of fun watching The Fab Beatles and Richard Cheese.

Richard Cheese was one of the worst acts to play sonisphere. No more novelty like that please.

I enjoyed him! Chas and Dave and Bjorn Again were all highlights too and some of the best responses, same with Bill Bailey. It's a festival, why not inject a bit of fun into it?

Seems a bit odd that they don't have any of Soni 14 headliners as a choice.

I think Crue actually signed a legal document to state after the fairwell tour in 2015 they'll never tour as Motley Crue again so unless they change names this might actually be the last tour
