I am actually looking forward to these guys. Every festival needs its party band, whether its quo or the darkness or whomever. I hope they get a decent slot, 'cos with a good crowd behind them they could be the feel good moment of the weekend.

Airbourne are great. They're like AC/DC but with worse songs but much more energy and entertainment. I'd rather watch Airbourne than AC/DC just because they work so damn hard to put on a good show that it doesn't matter that their songs aren't as good as AC/DCs.

I'm not a fan but I've managed to catch these three times now. At Sonisphere in 2011 they were alright but the other times they bored the hell out of me, I probably won't watch them this time.

As mentioned before their energy is great and goes a long way to providing an enjoyable experience, not sure he'll be allowed to climb up the stage again though (although not sure how they'd stop him) but what a view that must have been from up there!!

They stopped him at Download by attaching loads of stuff to all the posts so that there was literally no way to climb up. I hope they'll let him climb up as that was one of my iconic memories of Sonisphere.

I've seen Airbourne a couple of times. They do put on a good show!

I got to drive them around Glasgow before and after a show here a few years ago and they are really nice guys too.

Saw them supporting Maiden at Cardiff and they were great. Will be good to see them with a bigger crowd.
