Yeah they play the same set for each tour.

Also just looked at last years set and it's so so similar, personally I loved maiden England set but thought they'd change it a bit more

Happy with no. 17 but not with what it replaced...

Having only seen them at Soni & the same year at Nova Rock, that set list is brilliant for me! Not that they weren't amazing but it'll be a great big singalong this year =D

I thought they always closed with Running Free, or is it that they always play "Iron Maiden", I can't remember. Also, Bruce mentioned retiring some songs after this tour, It's going to be 7th of a 7th son and Revelations isn't it? :(

Quite spoiley | Show
They mix up the closing song, to be honest. They've closed with Hallowed Be Thy Name on a few tours, Run To The Hills on others. I'd have thought that it would be more likely to be Phantom of the Opera and Prisoner that they might drop going forwards, myself.

All the spoils | Show
I'm more surprised at the lack of Clairvoyant, to be honest. Given that the Maiden England tour is really a SSOASS tour and the fact that Clairvoyant usually seems to go down well, would have thought it would be a shoe in

More spoilt than one of David Beckham's kids | Show
Out of all the SSOASS material in the set previously it was the most disposable per say, personally hoped they'd shift the title track and Moonchild but that hasn't happened. Seems every time Maiden play Knebworth they pick a controversial set

The spoils of poynton | Show
Sorry, bad literary reference aside... I didn't see them on their last tour so I'm happy with the setlist to be honest. Particularly the songs off the self-titled album, yeah I'm disappointed with the lack of Running Free but I've seen them play it twice and never Sanctuary. Revelations is a bit of a tune as well; all good as far as I'm concerned :)

SWIT just seems so underrepresented for a "more 80's set" especially as this the later part of the 80's tour

Yay for random comic references. :D On topic, I can't say I'm a big fan of SWIT too much so not too disappointed myself. Think this set will go down well with most "casual" fans, very hit heavy.

I think the lack of SWIT tracks is because its one of those albums those seems to always get forgotten about by a lot of fans. They should just give Maiden a 4hr set, but we would still complain they missed tracks out.
