Maybe not....

With guest vocalists like Korn (I think) did that one time.

Don't go to Bloodstock this year then...

I was only talking about this year's Sonipshere when I said that. In general, it's perfectly acceptable, it's just that I don't see it being likely for any of the bands we've talked about headlining.

Long shot here...
Metallica ending up doing at least one cd's worth of Garage Inc.

Wonder what the odds are on that?

Otherwise, Kill 'Em All will do so get voting people! ;)

I wish Iron Maiden had announced that they're going to play 'No Prayer for the Dying' in full. Just to piss people off.

Same here... by far the best band I've ever heard for song covers. However, i may be showing some bias ;)

I don't understand how anyone could hate that album... It's one of my most vivid memories of getting into Metallica as a kid. But yeah, I like hearing different versions, really interesting.

I could see a 'Garage Inc.' set being something like this:

Ecstasy of Gold
1. Helpless
2. It's Electric
3. Last Caress/Green Hell
4. Sabbra Cadabra
5. Blitzkrieg
6. Breadfan
7. Turn the Page
8. Astronomy
9. Die, Die My Darling
10. Crash Course in Brain Surgery
11. Mercyful Fate
12. The Wait
13. Stone Cole Crazy
14. New Song
15. Am I Evil?
----------------------------
16. Whiskey in the Jar
17. So What?
18. Seek and Destroy [it's pretty much of a cover of 'Sucking my Love' by Diamond Head'

That's possibly the best set list I've ever seen...

Dream Theater to headline Saturn with a 15th anniversary playthrough of Scenes From a Memory. That'd be worth the ticket money on its own for me.

I'd also take anniversary playthroughs of Incubus's Make Yourself, NIN's Downward Spiral and Monty Python's Monty Python Sings.

I don't think I'm asking for much

And you complained that Iron Maiden didn't play "well known" songs in 2010.

Dream Theater in any form would be cool and yeah, you're asking for too much. Particularly Monty Python.

I have a distinct hunch Dream Theater are gonna do something Scenes-related on their An Evening With... tour next year, I'll frakking explode if they do. I'd love to see them at a festival again provided they got enough time, headlining High Voltage was great for them but I can't imagine they'd fare well anywhere lower than Saturn headliners.

I didn't know next year's tour is An Evening With... So are they doing two 90 minute sets? Unfortunately there's no Scottish date next year (which I'm furious about) and I don't live in Birmingham any more so can't go to the Wolverhampton show.

Buy me a ticket for the show in Wolvo and I'll phone you while they're playing... Be just like actually being there! ;)
