Gah... I swear I seem to be the only person who doesn't like them. The singer's voice just annoys me. So I am not particuarly hoping for them, but if they do play I hope you enjoy it.

Well they're supposed to be heavily rumoured for Reading, so my best bet is that they will play there.

They're rumoured for Reading but I think they could still play Soni under Linkin Park. Thought they were very flat at Download last year when they headlined although I have seen them on a better day (reading 04)

I think The Offspring will probably play Reading although I don't really mind either to be honest I'm going to both. I think if they play Sonisphere Alkaline trio will play on the same day with them... just a guess that is :)

They have been rumoured for some time to be headlining the NME tent on the Friday at Reading and Sunday at Leeds, but if they are not playing this then I could see them playing Sonisphere.

hmmm, didnt know that - and looking at those dates they are free on Friday and Sunday but it would be a bit bizzare them playing one day in the UK,next day France, then back in the UK again. But that is possible I suppose.

sickkkkkk. Yeah The Offspring would be damn good, such a better band than Pretty Fly and Original Prankster which really are two of their worst hits. Check out their album 'Smash' back when they were more punk and whatever you do, listen to the song 'Self Esteem' it is an absolute epic and if you don't like that then fair enough you don't like The Offspring so gtfo.
