Machine head would be a great addition to the lineup.
Should put them in that 3rd spot on the main stage.

Yeah I certainly think Machine Head should be on the bill, would add to the metal factor of the Sunday and would make me glad I bought my ticket.

Nah they tend to pull out of festivals and shows.
They did it at this one festival recently.
Just can't remember the name ....

I hear they managed to keep Bullet and A7X though which was a shock as those are the kind of bands which enjoy pulling out...

Definetly don't jinx it lol. I was gutted when A7x cancelled their UK Tour for the 3rd successive time but proceeded to do a tour in America. :(

My moms words were you will NEVER go to see that band ever. We lost £20 because of the booking fees in the end.

I've been following them since 95 and I know that's not true.

I hold no grudges against anybody (not even Sonisphere or LB) and I'll be there for the next MH UK tour when it happens.

In addition to Sonisphere UK, since releasing the Blackening in 2007 MH and have canceled just 11 shows out of a total of over 300.

16th June 2007 Holland - tour bus broke down in Germany
27th Sept 2007 Buffalo, USA - Robb Flynn throat infection
23rd Oct 2007 Seoul, South Korea - Passport and Visa issues
24th Oct 2007 Auckland, New Zealand - Passport and Visa issues
12th Feb 2008 Green Bay, USA - death of Dave McClain's mother
23rd Feb 2008 Seattle, USA - Robb Flynn throat infection
17th July 2008 Las Vegas, USA - Robb Flynn throat infection
13th Nov 2008 - Robb Flynn throat and bronchial infection
14th Dec 2008 - Antwerp, Belgium - Phil Demmel collapses at Sheffield on 12 Dec
15th Dec 2008 - Alzette, Luxembourg - Phil Demmel collapses at Sheffield on 12 Dec
23rd July 2009 - Hunterfest, Poland - all bands canceled, organisers didn't pay bands deposits

So I don't think that shows a record of pulling out of festivals does it?
