Kvelertak

black’n’rollers Kvelertak return to Sonisphere for a second time after their 2010 appearance in the wake of a massive buzz. That a six piece from Stavanger, Norway who sing about Norse mythology and Viking folklore solely in their native tongue, could become one of the hottest and most talked about acts of late is testament to just how awesome their music is, and their only UK show of 2012 on Sunday in Bohemia will be a triumphant return.

a great band, seriously check em out if you haven't already. their self-titled album is one of the best debuts I'd heard in years.

EDIT: Here's a short article on them you should read http://www.metalsucks.net/2012/03/07/kvelertak-take-their-message-to-the-streets-literally/ these guys don't give a frakk!

I absolutely love this band. I can't put their album on without listening to it the whole way through, not a bad song on the whole thing, so catchy. Their live show is fantastic, saw them on their tour last year for the first time and they blew me away. So happy they were announced

I remember seeing them at Reading Festival on the tiny BBC Introducing stage - it started raining as soon as they came on, Thor himself was clearly pleased

I'll be dragging everyone and their Mum to watch them this year :D

I saw em at Leeds, walked 25 minutes to see their 20 minute set, then 25 minutes back, and didnt see another band for hours.

worth it.

As long as they stick to "thanks" (takk) and the days of the week, I should be fine 8-)

Gave their tour a miss when Trap Them pulled out, so glad they're playing. New album should be near enough done by July too. Hopefully they won't clash with Refused, Glassjaw, Mastodon or FNM.

Wait, are they putting them on the Sunday as well, or you just guessing?

Hopefully they'll be on at the same time as Minchin, Evanesance or Incubus.

Yup, they're in Bohemia on Sunday. It says so on the official website anyway.
I'm hoping they'll be on relatively early, so I can get close to the front for Refused.

After FNM might work too, they'd be a fun band to end the weekend.

The singer jumped on me at Download. Their crowd had about 50 people max. Was sad to see, but it was raining. Cannot wait. Shall watch over every other band announced.
