I Killed The Prom Queen

Postby Mikeyyy » Sun Feb 26, 2012 1:42 am

In my opinion, these guys are fairly big! With past/current members branching off into bands such as Deez Nuts, Confession, Bring Me The Horizon, The Red Shore and more!

This will be their first UK appearance since their last UK date in 2007 (Correct me if I'm wrong!)

I've waited so long to see these guys again! If you don't know them, please, check them out!

That was taken during their 2008 'Say Goodbye' tour for their DVD 'Sleepless Nights & City Lights'

Anyone else as stoked as me? :D

Ahh! Bleeding through are awesome as well!

They're currently writing and recording, I just hope they find a good mix when it comes to playing new & old songs!

That song up there was the first thing I've heard by them. Not blown away to be honest.

'say goodbye' and 'like nails to a casket' are my two favourites i think. they did a split EP with parkway drive a while back as well, but i'm not overly keen on it.

They remind me or Unearth and Conducting From The Grave, but I prefer both of those :P

Conducting from the Grave are Amazing!
I'm hoping for a few more metal bands like IKTPQ to be announced!

I wouldn't go as far as saying literally nothing like them. I can hear similarities, though they sound a lot more like CFTG.

I'd say they fall in quite different areas of the metal spectrum. IKTPQ are lot more... "core"? If you get me, brutal, as it were. Whereas Unearth are just heavy and chuggy, but not brutal.

You heard much of Michael Crafters other band? Confession?

I'm quite looking forward to seeing how well Jamie Hope goes with IKTPQ!

Yeah I see what you mean there. I don't know a lot of metalcore really, probably just the two bands I named really so its no wonder they're the similarities I picked up on

Hmmm. Guess I'll be giving these guys a miss after listening to that.

Predicted the first breakdown with sad inevitability. Didn't see the second one coming mind you...
