Surely David Bowie (and Jedward) for 'Under Pressure', and some big names from Rock.

This might turn into something of an Avantasia concert!

Which radio station was this on kipper?

What happened with Queen on the Brits earlier?

I think they were giving out an award, not playing. I didn't watch though.

Radio 2 this morning, was on Chris Evans show.

I stick with radio 1. Crap music, but Chris Moyles is a great introduction to the morning.

It's a shame they were just giving out an award, it would have been surreal for Sonisphere to get a mention on the frakking Brit awards!

I think that you all are in for the surprise of your lives when you hear Adam Lambert. He has the vocal range of Freddy and also the stage presence. He's modest enough to state that he is NOT trying to be Freddy, but that he is paying a tribute. Even Brian and Roger have stated that "Freddie would be proud". Adam fronting with Queen will be the highlight of the concert. He most definitely is NOT "some pop singer". Can't wait until all of you who are a bit cynical on this subject are totally blown away. :bow-yellow: :) :D

I rate Queen pretty highly, can I play bass for We Will Rock You?

(Yeah, he probably will do something...)

I personally really hope Justin Hawkins goes nowhere near the stage when Queen are playing.

this!! the darkness are one band that i just can't stand. i rate them as highly as the spice girls. i just hate the high-pitched voice he does. it doesn't even sound natural. it's just ew-y.

Imagine the voice doing your favourite Queen song. Please just no.

it would end up being bohemian rhapsody and i would cry with the injustice of it all.

i just really don't want him anywhere near the "on-stage" bit, he can stand to the side as much as he wants.

If he sang that and I was drunk enough it may actually make me cry too.

maybe we could bribe the sound guys to "accidently" switch off the microphone??

the crowd singing will mean that no-one will notice.

That sounds like a plan. Hopefully it will not have to come to that stage though.

Bribe them with booze of course. If that doesn't work then some hookers or monster munch.

I imagine any guest singers would be doing it with Adam rather than replacing him. Unfortunately Bohemian Rhapsody lends itself to having different voices, but that's the one I'd least like to see ruined by whatever guests they have...

Don't understand the negativity towards Justin Hawkins, I'd go as far to say his voice suits some of Queens earlier work a heck of a lot more than Adam's does. On a slightly unrelated note, Foxy Shazam have to be part of the under card for the saturday.

i just don't like his voice. i don't like the high-pitched voices.

if you ask any of the regulars, they will tell you this is not a new thing. mika also kills my brain with his high-pitchedness. but if mika turns up, then i may be forced to sulkyface at team sonisphere.
