Yeah looking forward to seeing these again. Only caught half of their set at Nova Rock last year. Linkin Park were so poor i went to the other stage to watch the rest of Darkness :)

Saw them twice last year, and I think I shall be seeing them twice this year (Think I may see them at the forest show too.) Amazing live band, and definitely a festival band. Even played with Brian May when I saw them last November :D

Listen to Permission to Land first, not One Way Ticket. That one gets some getting used to

I may give them another chance this year, I wasn't too convinced by the short bit I saw at Nova Rock last year, but I was probably just being drunk and grumpy :P

The Darkness are brilliant and look like they are really fun live, I think this year is just going to be one massive sing-along, one of the bands I wanted to see at Download last year, so glad they have been announced for Sonisphere.

Aye, this years saturday will be all about the sing alongs, I reckon. Will be interesting to see if Brian joins them on stage again for Tie Your Mother Down. Could we also have Foxy Shazam please? Supported The Darkness on their tour, and they were just fantastic. Would go down very well late night in the tent.

They have no Europe dates out yet, but then again they have a new album out and went down well as support. Opening Saturn would be an ideal set for them, as I am very sure with The Darkness playing and Foxy's singer basically wanting to be Freddie Mercury, they would go down well.

Not a band I wanted at all, I must say. Saying that though, I think they may win me over enough that I will get through the set.

Unlike Korn at Download, who I wanted to see instead of The Darkness (and were utter gooseberry!)

Never mind, I'll get my own way by making my Dad come and watch Mastodon

If nothing else is on I would watch them for the laugh and nostalgia value.

Saw them at Liverpool last year, got a hug off Frankie and it was a great set. Hoping I can get the money together to do soni this year

Foxy Shazam put on a great show but I wasn't sure at all musically with them. Definately worth a drunken festival watch though

Loved them at DL last year, had a proper sing along and dance.
They more than make up for missing steel panther at DL this year :-D

Hopefully I'd be able to make it out of Bohemia in time for the Darkness.

these will go down a treat, just aslong as they dont base their set around the new album completely. you want the classics at a festival

I saw them when they last played at Knebworth in 2003 when they had just made the breakthrough and thought they were pretty good then
