Can't see anyone being on when Metallica are playing. Hopefully they'll be playing in the gaps between the Big 4 sets.

Wouldn't have thought so, would be on at the same time as to give people an extra option.

Team Soni wouldn't wnat to force people to watch something, they would give people the option, even if it is the Big 4, they know that it's not to everyone's tastes and so put alternatives on at the same time.

Obviously. I'm just saying that when push comes to shove I'll be torn between going to see PTH or missing one of the Big 4 sets. Probs will end up being a coin toss!

PTH don't come over to the UK that often, you will be able to watch one of the BIg 4 again in a tour next year.

True. Though I've already seen PTH once this year, whereas I've never seen Megadeth before, and the others only once.
Shame that Megadeth/Slayer tour isn't coming to the UK but I guess with them doing Soni they wouldn't need to.

We'll see. If you notice a short man with a ginger beard running wildly out of the Megadeth pit, crying and wailing Rody Walker's name, you'll know I got it wrong. :P

Don't think it'll be Metallica, I'm hoping it'll be Diamond Head as I'll only be going to see them for one song.

i've seen the big 4 loads of times, the only chance i had to see protest the 2 bands playing before them turned up really late so protest got forced to open and played before i got to the venue :( . can't wait to see them finally, fortress is one of my favourite albums.

Protest the hero is one of my favorite bands, but the new album Scurrilous, kinda sucks...

I just hope they play songs from Kezia.. now that's a great f**king album! Wouldn't mind some songs from ortress either :)

I imagine most of the songs will be from Scurrilous, as they do tend to play alot of their new songs at shows. Personally I don't mind, but I'd love to hear Bloodmeat, Limb from Limb, Heretics and Killers and Turn Soonest to the Sea (though the latter probably won't happen).

How were they? The tent was so busy, I couldn't get near enough to hear anything. I'm gutted, as I bloody love this band!

they were very good but the sound wasn't great mainly due to Tim not being there, so they had one guitarist. We got stuck outside but then everyone just barged through so we got in :)

Instrumentally flawless. As good as they could be when they were missing a member. That bassist is something else. Flawless.
