biffy donated their stuff to a charity shop, and some guy bought two jackets and now he's trying to sell them. so now he's getting spammed on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Biffy-Clyro-Cloth ... 500wt_1156

EDIT: never mind he's taken it down

They had a much shorter set though at Glasto I'd imagine? THey have up to 2 hours to play around with at Sonisphere, so here's hoping they take that opportunity to bring out some old songs.

They had an hour, so not as short as it could have been. Do we have any idea whether they'll take the full 2 hours? Cause I can't see them doing a show that long, particularly since they're not really playing to a crowd who's gonna be in the palm of their hand

EDIT: Setlist if anyone's interested. I don't know them very well at all but that album pie chart says it all. Very bad move if they do that at Sonisphere

I'd imagine they'd take the full slot, its their first headline at a major festival so I'm hoping they use it to span their entire career with tracks from every album (possibly even a wee B-side like Hope for an Angel for the old school nuts like me)& not just the latest album's chart hits

Personally the only song i want off the new album played is Golden Rule and Captain. But they will play these too and the other hit singles. I expect about 6 or 7 off the new album. Thats ok if they back it up with plenty of songs from Blackened Sky, The Vertigo of Bliss and Infinity Land. I expect a few from puzzle as well.

Overall could be looking at.
7 Songs from only revolutions
5 songs from puzzle
3/4 songs from Infinity Land
3 songs from The Vertigo of Bliss
1/2 songs from Blackened Sky

Something like this wouldnt be too bad. The extra time they have should be filled up with songs from the older albums.

also they're playing to a different crowd at glastonbury, obviously. the sort of crowd who would prefer the hit/chart/pop songs rather than their harder punk/grunge type stuff :)

tbh i wouldn't care but i know a lot of people who would... :P

Yeah with the extra time they have in the soni headline slot they will add the older stuff in there. I sure hope so anyway. There older stuff is up there with some of the best music at the festival for me. Infinity Land is a great, great album!

Well according to the festival timings the mainstage is opened till 11pm on both friday and saturday, meanwhile it's only open till 10:30 on sunday, so that suggests to me they'll have a longer set than Slipknot, though whether they use the full 2 hours, I don't know.

That set features most of OR and that was in an hour so even if they only had an extra 30 minutes they could fit a good 5 or so songs from older albums.

I reckon they'll play an hour and a half. Most bands of that caliber tend to. Plus I don't think Biffy will be able to hold a festival audiences attention for 2 hours. An hour and a half will give them roughly 18 songs, which is more than enough.

Yeah like i said above, i reckon about 20 songs with about 7 songs from the new album. Thats fine as long as they get enough older stuff in!
