Kerry King did not take part in the Sweden Jam, and he said the reason was that they were supposed to do "So What" and that is what they practiced, but Metallica changed it at the last minute.

Man.......if they play So What I will freak out!! Been dying to hear it performed live for years now!

Where did ya hear KK say that?

Yeah So What is a pretty fun live song. I have seen it performed a few times live. James however as far as I know does not enjoy playing it anymore. I read somewhere that it had something to do with his kids or something. Not 100% sure though..

As for the Kerry King saying that it was supposed to be the Big 4 Jam in Sweden here is the link:
http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbe ... mID=160244

"I was supposed to be there, but they changed the song at the very last minute. We were gonna play the ANTI-NOWHERE LEAGUE's 'So What', so I had rehearsed that song. When they changed it to 'Am I Evil?', I decided not to do it."

Metallica were good. Think I preferred them in 2009, though. What happened to the acoustic during Fade To Black? James didn't look too pleased.

The input and/or lead was playing up, there were some very audible pops.

I thought they were great but not half as special as the first time I saw them.

I thought it just wasn't working at all, and the only thing that was being registered is what the microphone was picking up?

I don't know, I think it would have been even better if the whole set was in the dark. :P
