Deposit Scheme for 2012

Postby Nicko » Fri Jul 29, 2011 3:21 pm

Does anyone know if this will be back and if so, how do I go about using it? Never been to Sonisphere and want to go next year but not looking forward to splashing out the full price in one go!

Im guessing Id have to wait for the 2012 tickets on general sale if it is on rather than use the early bird tickets on the site now?

Cheers. :music-rockon:

i dont think we will know until they announce the headliners sometime near christmas i guess , however ,

if they do have the deposit scheme , itb works like this , you pay the deposit say £60 and then have until say 31st march to pay for your ticket in full giving you 4 months or there abouts to get the money together .
you get reminders sent via email of the final payment date and it will also be all over the website and facebook .

quite a lot who have used it in the past have been complimentary about it , so i see no reason why they woudlnt do it again for 2012 but i guess regular checks on the webiste would be best

We have done the deposit scheme thing for the last two years and it is pretty handy; means you don't have to have all the money in one go. Especially handy with tickets goingon sale just before Christmas.

Just wondering.. with the late announcement, will they extend the date of the deposit scheme?

Yeah, I'd imagine so, but we won't know till it's all official I guess. I'm sure they said it'd at least be back anyways.

So there's definitely the deposit scheme running.

Does anyone know if it's for 3 or 4 day camping? Or both?

Once you pay your deposit you will receive a link from the ticket agent which will allow you to pay off the balance. At this stage you will choose which ticket type you would like and include any additional items such as Lockers and Carpark passes.

Looks like it includes everything except Rock Royalty.

I've just done this through Gigantic and it came up with error, had no confirmation email, but the money has gone out of my account ?????

edit - sorted it now, on the booking screen, there isn't a * next to card security code, but you have to type it in.

When do you get the link to pay the rest of it off?
