Which slot do you mean? Under Minchin or Kiss

Well, they can't sub because there's no space there on a day they're free. I'd still be very surprised to see them as low down as subbing second, but I guess its not impossible if that's the only slot available,

It would be a bit like when Prodigy headlined second a few years back at download, then headlined this year without realistically being any bigger than in 2009. Or FNM playing the tent at L&R, or KoRn playing second stage at Download last year.

I think they are big enough to sub apollo, but they may take the slot under Minchin.

That will make a good Saturday night for me. The Darkness - Lostprophets - Evanescence - watch a bit of Minchin before going to get a good spot for Queen

eLOL had Tenacious D down as "tbc" for Reading & Leeds, yet they haven't been announced so i'd like 'em as special guests under Kiss.

No Frank Turner at Leeds & Reading makes me a Sad Panda. Why? 'Cos he'll probably wind up at bloody Soni. Unless he's in a later announcement, of course.

And Lostprophets I reckon are nailed on for Sat Special Guests now. It's only a matter of time... not what I'd want to see, but it could be worse (see above)

Well he's doing TITP over Soni weekend, Sunday I believe - and he's not "that" high up. So guess he could fit in 2nd or 3rd from top Saturn at a push, but I'd say it's unlikely. I love him though, so would like to see him on the bill, he'd fit in well on the Saturday too.

Sonisphere tweeted something a few days ago about Hawkwind sending them an album. Potential midnight Bohemia band?

It was Hawk Eyes I believe - as in the band who have played the past few years and used to be called chickenfoot, they'll probably turn up again on red bull/jager stage

Nova Rock are announcing more bands tomorrow - might give us an idea of someone who wasn't though to be previously touring like Cypress Hill etc...

Frank's just been announced for the Eden Session on July 1st... I think he would be great as Tim Minchin's Special Guest

Hawkwind are awful live. Much rather have a decent prog or prog/metal band such as Symphony X, Queensryche or Dream Theater

Symphony X are at Download, Dream Theater are too big for Bohemia and I can't stand Queensryche

Adrenaline Mob are playing Sweden the Friday of Download, so pretty much rules them out as they share singers. Could turn up on Sunday, though.

Terrorvision leaked them as playing on the Friday, which is odd..
