I doubt it. I saw Michael Schenker support Black Country Communion last July - he played songs by all 3 projects too - sounds to me like he's just touring that under a different name.

Would still like to see him on the bill somewhere though.

plus, it would be definitely smaller than the Scorpions, and most people don't know who UFO are.

Only true for the younger audience. They were big back in the mid70s to early 80s

UFO are touring this year, they could fit in Bohemia. Seeing them next friday, can't wait

You mean the massive majority of Sonispheres demographic?

I doubt they're a bohemia band, but a former member playing a few of their hits isn't enough to sub headline is he?

Look at Slash from Guns N Roses playing the second stage at Download. that's a lower slot than subbing, and he was in Guns N fuckin Roses. not to mention being one of the most recognisable icons in rock music. Slash might have been able to sub here, but Michael Schenker is hardly comparable.

You said most people, not most people going to Sonisphere.

Schenker isn't able to sub here, no chance

Fair do's I thought I was replying to the person who'd said that he could.

And I think it's fair to assume we're talking about people likely to attend Sonisphere, otherwise I'm gonna be super pedantic and say that your grandma, or the receptionist at your work, or some guy in an african village have never heard of UFO, so my point stands, most people haven't heard of them :ugeek:

I think they should book Wu Tang Clan under Tim Minchin, just for the lols. Imagine going from a mob of hardcore gangsta rappers to some effeminate comedian
