I'm under half the age of 40 yet I like them, likewise wouldn't pay to see them at their own show though!

i had a trip to america booked to see them for my 40th in 2007 but Eddie got cancer and cancelled the show

them being booked would be the most awesome booking ever

and would shift an enormous amount of tickets especially now DLR is back

It would be a HUGE booking in terms of shifting tickets because DLR is easily the best VH frontman!

Alexisonfire should headline as they are the best live band I have ever seen. Even better than Rush if you would believe it!

They are very good live but nowhere near the best I've seen.

I would have taken them as a surprise Slam Dunk headliner but nothing else.

Would have been a damn sight better than the tripe Slam Dunk did get, and that's from someone who's never really been sold on Alexisonfire.

Unfortunately, I doubt we will ever see them play with one another again. They were never that big to make a reunion worthwhile, but I would love to be proven wrong.

Look at who's headlined Slam Dunk in the past. Reel Big Fish, YM@6 when they were still kinda small, New Found Glory and Taking Back Sunday. This year, All time Low.

I'd put Alexisonfire on a par with them, they could certainly headline in 2014 if they felt so inclined. Depends on what they want to do now, I don't know how permanent this breakup is gonna be 'cause I'm not clued in on what's going on.

Considering they just did a farewell tour selling out two dates at Brixton within minutes, I think they are of an alright size aha. Dallas is focusing on his solo work as City and Colour (Which is bigger than Alexisonfire were when they were still around) Wade is now the lead vocalist for Gallows. Not entirely sure what the rest of the band are doing, but I spoke to them after the last show at Brixton and they said they won't come play anymore shows. If they was in it for the money, they would be playing A LOT more farewell shows

The one-off reunion show hype would certainly put them up there.

They just sold out two dates in Brixton in minutes. Had to buy mine on eBay although I was on at 9:00 on the dot. They would easily be able to headline Slam Dunk, but it will not happen.

They could easily headline Slam Dunk but they are still nowhere near the size of ATL.

I still think that with the pull of a one-off reunion they could draw a similar-sized, if not bigger crowd

Oh yeah they could but if AOF ever played a festival ATL would be above them every time. Plus your comparing a one-off compared to a band still going who clearly won't get as big a crowd as their shows aren't a one off.
