debate-able

UK has rammstein and maiden
swiss has big4 - metallica at UK soni last year, UK soni has anthrax and slayer of big4
amon amarth = massive win
rise against = announcement coming sooner or later
stone sour = see rise against
devildriver = see rise against
volbeat = -1 swiss soni
motorhead = good pull
H&H = at UK soni last year - at BoA this year
mastadon = debate-able band, like marmite - so good and bad band

if that's going to happen -

Soni UK>Soni Swiss

don't write it all down, it just makes the truth hurt more :(

Also just noticed the new bands. Why does the switzerland sonisphere out of all get good bands regulary, while the uk waits months just to add to the ok-ness.

Way better than the "main" Sonisphere which should be in UK.

Because its closer? Alot of bands take a while to sort out their summer plans, which go far beyond Sonisphere UK. Contracts and stuff take a while to sort out.

And you say just to add ok-ness, we have had one mixed bag announcement out of 3. And next week we are getting another announcement which could be awesome

Well personally before the record breaking announcement yesterday hit (of worse announcement ever) the line up still wasn't the best thing ever.Its now 8/19 bands (not counting henry) of bands i would see (not like but wouldn't mind watching) and yesterdays announcement didn't add one to that total. Meanwhile switzerland has alot of bands and 2 of them i would not see but thats only because i have never heard of them. I still like the uk bill (the few bands i do like i REALLY want to see) and i'm really holding out for the next bunch of bands next week, but the switzerland one rapes it in every possible way.

That is just your opinion though. Most of the bands at Soni SZ don't appeal to me in the slightest, whereas alot of the ones at Soni UK do. Stop treating your opinion of good bands as the standard, because it really isn't.
