Yeah thats a solid lineup!

From that would hope we'd get Within Temptation, CoB and Skindred!

Got a feeling that line up wise, the other Euro Soni's be stronger than ours this year?

Well, with Spain, we had five of these bands last year.

When you look at who's rumoured for our headliners, and that Metallica are doing the EU run again, I assume we'll have stronger headliners than Metallica/Soundgarden. Will be interesting to see who Soundgarden's special guests are, though.

Within Tempation, CoB and Skindred would be lovely.

Decent lineup

I wouldn't say any of those will be at UK Sonisphere yet given that Soni Spain is in May. If anything some of those bands are more likely to be at Download if they're touring around that time

I think some of the smaller ones are possible as they tend to tour for much longer, that and Clutch did Download last year (as well as fests like Nova rock and stuff in June), so I can at least see them doing Soni UK this year, perhaps someone like Gojira might be repeated too due to their success.

Aye. Seems that way as they're the only other band with their own logo.

We were in Madrid when Soni was there last year and it was extremely hot out there at the time. Must have been over 40 deg C so maybe it was unusual or a heatwave. Even the locals were hiding out in the shade!
I wouldn't have been able to handle that heat all day in a field. That may be why they've moved it back from July to end of May.

That lineup is better than UK Sonisphere imo.

Really want to go to this.

Out of the bands on there, we could still get Paradise Lost, Clutch, Six Hour Sundown, Rise to Remain, Children of Bodom, Vita Imana, Sister, Kobra, Skindred, and (potentially) the Offspring.

Can you post it on here please? :)

Tempted to go to this. Got a few questions.

What Day and time does the Spain Sonisphere festival open?

Is it possible to get there on Thursday 24th May and start camping?

Is it possible to camp on the last night? (Saturday 26th may)

Also any idea what the nearest Airport is?

Any help would be appreciated!

Its good the travel arrangements have been sorted out quicker this year. Ended up just booking a flight to Nova Rock instead last year.

Might do the same again this year with flights. £149 coach return seems alot just for a 2 day festival. Flights and then transfers to the festival might just be as much tho.

Really :? ? I don't see what's so great about it to be honest, bar Soundgarden (who are at Download), Kyuss (Who are at Download), The Offspring and yeah...It's a good line up, but not a scratch on the UK Soni or Download - although I guess it is much cheaper. Most of the undercard will end up at Sonisphere too like Clutch and probably Skindred and Bodom...
