How easy is it to get from gatafe back to madrid after the headline acts have finished? Do metro and other public transport still operate late at night??? Cheers Stef1885

Anyone had confirmation of the free offer yet? I just checked my spam (which I rarely do) and noticed I had confirmation of the Poland offer and am worried I may have missed the spain email due to it being sent to my spam

Hey Hooper420, same happened to me, I emailed them and they said I'd probably missed it in spam but they confirmed I had two tickets and just told me to take that email and my photo ID to pick up my tickets - good luck :)

I have been having trouble ordering tickets for the Spain show. I was on ticketmaster.es this morning and I keep getting this message: **As you know, ServiCaixa and Ticketmaster have merged, so it is possible that some of the links you used to use have changed** Basically all the links on the website lead to this. The ticket page was up last night, but I was still confirming how many people were coming.

I am currently living in Italy, but my address is still a US one (fleet post office) due to being in the military. I tried the other websites suggested on the main sonisphere spain page, but they only deliver to European addresses.

I must be getting very old because the idea of a set that starts at 2am really fills me with dismay. Wretched as it may sound, I'm really glad UK noise and licensing laws mean that festivals start and finish earlier. I would be dead on my feet trying to watch Fear Factory at two in the morning.

edit: Actually, I guess weather must be a factor as well - I guess if everyone was out in a field for six hours of Spanish sunshine each afternoon they would probably all die.

Whoah, Walnut, can you believe Fear Factory are headlining over Metallica?

Exactly. It starts at 5pm because you really can't expect people to be out in the Spanish sun at 1pm. Bennacassim is the same (so my friends tell me)

Does anyone know where this new venue is 'John Lennon Auditorium'? Kinda wondering how we'll get back to our hotel at 3am! x

The venue is next to the Getafe Industrial train station. If you search Paseo John Lennon in google maps you'll see it, it's a big, grey rectangle. To get back to the hotel the easiest way is by taxi, because there won't be any shuttle buses to Madrid this year.

Seriously late on this whole preparation for this Sonisphere Madrid weekender, despite having eagerly anticipated it for the last several months. Especially with the news of Knebworth! :( Thankfully, I was one of the lucky few to land a FNM ticket. :P :P :P :P

Soooooo… How many people from the board are there of you actually goin? Also, anyone heading down on the Thursday and sticking about till the Monday? It’s gonna be such an awesome weekend!?!?!
