Good Charlotte

Postby triaxis » Mon Jul 19, 2010 9:17 am

One of the few bands that I regard as 'must-see' at Sonisphere - haven't seen 'em since 2003 when they had the likes of Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and Anthem doing the rounds

Hope they play 'Get Your Hands Off My Girl' and 'The River'

Anyone else looking forward to seeing these?

I can't wait. One of the few rock albums from when I was young. Heard girls and boys on advert for capital fm (where different songs were lip-synced to) and somehow tracked down the album. Still know all the words despite not having really listened to them in years.

Never seen them before either, and I am definitely not missing this chance.
Imma leave my FMC code in here, as if I don't I'll never be able to find the bloody thing when I need it. 1k943978

Dunno if I could bring myself to watch these guys with so much happening on the lower stages. Actually, being honest, I'm pretty disappointed by the Saturday Main Stage line up in general...it'll be mostly other stages for me. But you guys have fun!

This, its the worst clash of the whole weekend. I honestly don't know who to watch. It'll be the last chance to see Tim Minchin in a small show, but its Good Charlotte too :( Halp

Big shame about the clash: I think the majority of people would've wanted to see both. Has to be Good Charlotte for me, childhood band.

My....these have grown up a lot since I saw them at Reading...and they didn't get bottled as they did at Reading that year (2003)

Enjoyed these, good fun, sang lots, only black mark was no 'Get Your Hands Off My Girl'

Oh and twas a good touch dedicating 'The River' to the late Jimmy Sullivan (aka The Rev)

I thought they were really good aswell, I heard a few blokes complaining near where I was stood about GC being at the festival. To be honest I didnt care, as soon as 'Anthem' came :) I was bouncing :text-givemebeer:
