I guess it depends on how you look at it. Rock is a broad genre, after all :)

I'm not actually a massive fan of the Beatles. I will catch some of their set to see what they play but may grab a beer and roll around on the ground for a bit afterwards :/

Will they release a set-list? I'd like to see Penny Lane, mainly because my grandad loves that tune.

I'm not intending to watch any of those, to be honest. I'll be lurking around the other tents or pumping myself full of booze at the time. :)

That's why The Bootleg Beatles are the only true Beatles tribute band folks ;)
But I wouldn't take that list as a valid one, I mean, a tribute band who doesn't do hits like Hey Jude? Per-lease.

I'd rather see Family Force 5, imo they'd be hilarious live. The Beatles just aren't for me never mind a tribute band...

This amuses me.

The fab beatles know pretty much every Beatles song ever. It's there job. And they do loads of weddings etc where they might need to play something obscure as it is the brides favourite.

I would expect we get a number of big hits, using the more rocking ones.

And for those saying "No Eleanor Rigby" they most certainly know that one. They played it was the beatles greatest hits was released, for an album launch by EMI.

Personally, would love to here Penny Lane, I was ropped into a barbershop cortet competition last year, where we sang that
Imma leave my FMC code in here, as if I don't I'll never be able to find the bloody thing when I need it. 1k943978

I'd love to hear Come Together, The Golden Slumbers medley, and Lucy in The Sky With Diamonds.

I think I'll catch them - on just after CKY (who I can see as being my first act on Sunday) so I can't see myself moving unless it clashes with AIC or Slayer...depending on how early either of those acts are on

Suppose it all depends when I get the times

Wayne, at Sonisphere the Apollo and Saturn stages never clash. They are staggered so the acts playing alternate between the 2. Meaning the fab beatles will be on after Madina lake play on the other stage :)

The Beatles never did it for me, what I've heard that is.

I've probably only heard the "hits", meaning there may well be songs I haven't heard that I'd like.. Either way, I don't think I'll be watching these: I'd rather watch that ABBA tribute ;)

I WANT MOAR YELLOW SUBMARINE NAO!

theres my stupid interwebs writing for the day

really am looking forward to these, loved Bjorn Again so much last year (likely enjoyed them to much).

Lucy in the sky with diamonds would be another song I'd love them to play - but think YS must be in it, just for festival lol's and a metalhead singalong :P
