do we know if they are bringing more or less for soni yet? I heard it was going to be one of their biggest shows ever, but that could have been bull gooseberry. I also heard 24 tonnes of pyro...

They are bringing alot - don't think it'll be scaled up though (festival sets never are), it should be on par with their usual stage show though I'd imagine.

I think the hype may be as big as it's been rumored to be. I'm seeing Rammstein at another festival this year, and the main stage isn't going down for a day so they can set up, in fact, they're playing after P!NK -_-

Yup ;D, Coheed & Cambria were announced for it today too, a double whammy of festival announcements has made my schoolweek bearable! I'm well chuffed about a mix of great old-school and the heavier bands, and the more current and lighter rock bands at Werchter...summers going to be great :D

Before they got announced for Sonisphere I thought to myself ignorantly that they were just some massively deranged band that I had no time for. After them being announced I was like I better give them a listen. After listening to them, I can safely say that I was right in saying that they are a massively deranged band, but there music is incredible. I have been watching some of there live shows, and they simply look phenomenal live. Hard to say, but I am looking forward to seeing these more then Maiden.

Thank you Sonisphere :D:D:D

Rammstein are the main reason that I have switched to sonisphere from Download this year!
I have been a hardcore Rammstein fan since I was in high school and have seen them live three times already. I cant wait to see them in a festival setting. I am wondering how much they will adapt their performance...i doubt they will be sending Flake out in the rubber dinghy, but you never know!

I'm looking forward to Pussy live the most cause it's the 'Buck Dich' of the album. I was gonna go to Rock am Ring but obviously I couldn't cause of my financial problems so when I booked my Sonisphere ticket I was happy :)
Can't wait for Ich tu dir weh and Buckstabu. Should be amazing.

I am definitely expecting this to get a good response from an English crowd, if only because it's a song we can all sing along to! Will be good stuff.

That's an amazing song, the intro is so amazing then it launches into a kick ass song. I love how it's a mixture between heavy and quite soft.
The video it's self is remarkable, very clever to make them think that Till is dead then he shows up on a beach. :D

Haifisch and Buckstabu should be rather spectacular live.

I'd love it if Richard live debuted some of his Emigrate stuff.
New York City, My World, Temptation and Babe would sound quite marvelous live.

No. I'd rather them not waste stage time and played rammstein stuff instead.

Maybe not lol.
It was only that people complained that they didn't know German so if they played a few English songs it would quieten them down.

The thing I've found with Rammstein is that they have major singalong choruses, whether it's in German or not.

Sonne, Mutter, Pussy, Links 2 3 4, Fuer Frei are the ones that I can think off the top of my head that have major singalong choruses in there.

They don't play Amerika live anymore, which sucks, like a lot of Rammstein fans it's the song that got me into them. There's still a lot of great songs which i've managed to remember the hookline to, at least.
