Are you mad? Maiden failed to sell out Twickenham for a one off show on a special tour, Wembley has a seating capacity 20,000 greater (I think) than Twickenham and we're talking about a full UK tour here.

Sonisphere sold out tickets, and the maiden album got to number one, I'm sure they'd play Wembley on a tour, doubt they'd be in the 02 if Muse can sell out Wembley maiden sure as frakk can!

If they toured it would be Wembley Arena, not stadium. Stadiums are for one off shows, and Muse can sell out anywhere in seconds. Maiden probably wouldn't sell it out. I don't think Metallica did in '07 either, but I may be wrong.

Sonisphere was Maiden only UK show of 2010.
Sonisphere had the added bonus of Alice Cooper, Rammstein, Motley Crue, Slayer, Anthrax et al.
Muse's last album 'The Resistance' sold 148,000 copies in the UK in it's first week, 'The Final Frontier' sold 44,385 in it's first week.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum.

Unfortunately, Maiden can't sell out a place like that. They'll do the O2, or a couple of nights at Wembley Arena/Earls Court

Also Metallica did sell out the stadium in 07, Anxiety - I just so happened to snap up a last minute release of 1000 tickets!
