Anyone found a way to remove the wristband?
Anyone found a way to remove the wristband?
Has anyone found a way of removing this years wristband without cutting it? The usual twist it and slide it off method doesn't seem to work, and I'm not allowed to have it on at work, so want to be able to take it on and off.
Re: Anyone found a way to remove the wristband?
The twist and slide worked for me, it only worked in one direction however.

You have to listen to 1D to remove it?

I removed my Bloodstock wristband from last year by twist & slide, plus a bit of stretching the fabric and sticking something into the plastic bit to make more room. I managed to get it off completely then I put it back on, but months of fidgeting with it took it's toll as I eventually managed to rip it.

Twist wouldn't work for me either but this did, put a plastic bag over your hand and wrist the put the wristband over the bag then pull the band as far as you can over your hand until you can't get it further then just pull the bag around it to pull it off.

They changed the designs of wristbands this year, it's much harder to take off with the twist and pull method.
Previously, the teeth were just a part of the lock itself, whereas now the teeth are seperate, so you can't twist the whole lock any more. The plastic casing just twists hopelessly round and round and the teeth inside stay locked in place. I guess with real force it can come off, but I didn't want to wreck the fabric of the wristband. I just used some pliers to cut the lock off.

Yeah, I tried the twist & pull method with it & it just started ripping the fabric, so used that method with the bag, much easier

Twist and pull - just do it at the points of the toggle. Ideally needs two people.
