I believe all the showers on site are cubicles as they were in 2011.

We don't do communal showers. I don't consider them suitable for a civilised society.

There's nothing civilised about paying £5 to stand under a piss warm dribble of water delivered at a pressure roughly equivalent to the saliva leaking from the mouth of a senile geriatric.

You must have gotten a dodgy shower then, I showered on Friday and Sunday, and while the pressure was lower on Friday it was explained why and was about as decent as a gym shower. Well worth it for me, I thought they were great!

Same here - really good. First time in over 20 years of festivals I've had one!

RR showers were fab (albeit you had to check it worked before you got in and stripped off)
The ones I went in were all boiling and fairly decent. I know a few of them were hit and miss but overall, impressed!

Very likely, but the fiver I paid for it was the same as everyone else's.

I don't know when you went, but that wasn't really an option - there was a half hour queue, with people hovering around on the ramp waiting for the traps to open. You couldn't pick n choose any more than you could be choosy with the bogs at peak times, but at least they were free.

There wasn't really a queue for the female side at all.... Was quite surprised it was worse for men actually! Shame you had a bad experience all the same.

first festival ive done the whole 4 days without a shower. I was prepped to pay the £3 for the shower/bog combo it was last time soni was on but a fiver for a shower where the queues werent moving was a bit extortionate considering the original ticket price too. Although, couldnt fault the food prices tho!
