Ticket for a part-time 'Carer'

Postby Avalon_Independent » Tue Jun 24, 2014 10:35 pm

Hi, my Carer has let me down and can't come with me to the Festival with me, but I might need some help whilst I am there, things like someone getting me some food or drink and helping me get to and from the Disabled seating area in the Arena. :confusion-helpsign:

I have a spare 'Carer's Ticket', for someone who will give me just a little bit of help whilst I am there. :angelic-flying: They would need to arrive with me, (to get in with the 'Carer's Ticket',) so we would have to arrange to meet outside the Camp Site or somewhere else the day before the show, as I intend to get into the site when the Camp Site opens on the 3rd. :auto-mysterymachine:

I will be asking for a 'deposit' of some sort for the ticket, ( week-end tickets are £180, so it would have to be about £100 for the deposit.) to make sure that they don't just run off with it once we are in... :angry-nono: I would return the cash, when the Festival is over.

They would also need a mobile phone to stay in touch so I can call them if/when I need help.

Anyone who thinks they could be the right person for this Ticket, please P.M. me :angelic-little:

Wow, 61 views in one day but no P.M.s or replies..... :confusion-waiting: Does anyone have any suggestions where I might find someone who wants a Ticket and would be willing to give me a little bit of help? The 'deposit' doesn't have to be cash, maybe a Driver's Licence with Photo, but I would need to have some kind of 'surety'.

As a New user, I can't PM you. Can you see if you can PM me please?
I don't need a ticket, but If you can't find a "carer" I May be able to sort some help out for you.

:!: Hi there 'smart monkey', I have sent a P.M. OK. :animals-chimp:

125 view and only one reply,

Time is running out :confusion-waiting: for someone to get an almost FREE Ticket, :character-beavisbutthead: all I need is a little bit of help, :text-givemebeer: they would be free to do as they pleased for most of the time.

So, PLEASE, if you know of anyone that wants to go and has the time, tell them to get in touch NOW! :happy-bouncygreen:

I've already got my ticket but wish I could help!

Maybe a few more details might encourage people, would they be camping alongside you in disabled or are they able to camp elsewhere and meet you daily?
I'm sure loads of people would be happy to do this but it's difficult on a forum that isn't used much!
There's an official Sonisphere facebook page so copy the link to this thread there or start a new post on there asking the same thing.
I volunteer at a MenCap charity and lots of people do 1-on-1 help for members for holidays and weekends so I know there will be someone out there for you!
Good luck!

I would ask on the https://www.facebook.com/sonispherefestival?fref=ts, that might be your best bet. Hope you can get things sorted :)

Hey, well thanks for your replies..... :handgestures-fingerscrossed: I am still waiting patiently.....

I did get a friend to post of Facebook for me, but the post isn't on the normal part of the page, like all 'Posts to Page' it's out of the way, half way down the left hand side, so it is not likely to be seen there so easy either.

In answer to jadeylemonadey, a temporary part-time 'Carer could camp elsewhere if they wanted, I do manage on my own a lot, just with a little bit of help. I do carry tarps if they needed a dry space to crash.... :sleeping-sleep:

But I live in hopes of someone seeing the ad and replying soon right? Seems such a waste of a good ticket. :happy-smileyinthebox:

Time is running out for an almost * 'FREE TICKET'*, :confusion-waiting: I will be travelling via Stevenage and could meet there, so if anyone you know wants to go to Sonisphere, tell them there is a Free Ticket available.

As I have mentioned before, the 'winner' of the Free Ticket, would need to arrive with me and give me a small amount of help, such as fetch food or drink. :text-givemebeer:
They would also need a Mobile phone to stay in touch in case I needed help, but that's about it.

Seems like a waste of a good FREE TICKET to me as I am sure I will be able to manage or get someone to help me there OK.

If I was selling it I could understand no takers, but a 'Free Ticket' what's wrong with you lot? :eusa-whistle:

Yes sure, but you'll find it is already there, just not very visible, as it's a 'post page' post which is halfway down the page on the left hand side....

If you are serious about this please answer soon....

I have sent a private message, but it looks like you haven't got it yet as it is still in the 'outbox'.

If you are still up for this, please reply to my P.M. soon as I get on the road tomorrow afternoon, so you have about 22 hours to sort it.

Send me your Mobile phone number and we'll take it from there OK.

Hey Avalon_Independent,

I'm heading to Sonis on Thursday to arrive around 3pm. I'm with friends, and we're all camping. If you've not found anyone by then, we'll do what we can to help. I won't need a ticket (unless it gets you backstage ;) ), but I don't want you to miss is. There's five of us, so there should be someone on hand to help when you need.

I can't seem to find a way to PM you, so if you PM me, I'll give my email and phone number.

I'd be happy to give you my driving licence for the duration, so I don't run off and leave you.

Hi, my friends just posted a reply but he is new and requires moderation so thought id post this in case it doesn't appear in time.

My friends and I have tickets already so no need for the extra but if you don't get a solid response from anyone please feel free to pm me and grab my number and we will help you if and when you need anything.

Else, have a great fest!

That's very kind of you, seems a shame to waste a good ticket, I can normally cope alone, but can't walk far, so the offer is still there if someone needs the ticket.....

Thank you for your offer of help. :D

:confusion-waiting: Time is running out and I will be on the road this evening so not able to see any messages.....

I have sent P.M.'s to both of the people who said they wanted the ticket, so check you in box.

I have also sent P.M.'s to others that were offering help.

hope to see you there,

Hey,

Thanks for the PM (that I still can't reply to!).

So, I'm the friend of evilcl0ne that couldn't post because I was moderated. I might not have communicated properly. I'm going with evilClone, so don't need the ticket. I wanted to offer help while I was at Sonisphere as I'm not sure what time we'll be there or what we're doing, so can't guarantee we'l be able to meet beforehand.

If you need help while you're in the arena, then I'll text your number so you have mine. So you'll have evilcl0nes and mine.

Thanks,
