First time doing something like this, is the 500 points realistically achievable?

Yes.
In all likelyhood, there'll be a task to go flyering and street advertising etc.. this will probably yield a lot of points depending on effort and time dedicated.
Also click count tasks can be quite lucrative if you put your mind to it.

Re: Fanteamz
How can you go about increasing your click count?
Surely there's only so many people you know and stuff, what else can you do?

You get 15 points for registering with both your Facebook AND Twitter accounts. You get 15 more points for creating a password, when you visit your account page there will be a green bar on your profile telling you to create a password, that will get you the other 15 points.
Other ways of earning points so far have been by posting Facebook and Twitter updates.

There's always that delay between doing the task and gaining the points. It gives me a heart attack.

Re: Fanteamz
Anyone else been waiting for a week for points from the Twitter task? Or still waiting for the points from the 3rd headliner task?

Re: Fanteamz
I haven't had any of my tasks reviewed yet, I'm owed about 40 points... It doesn't seem like the greatest system if there's just a couple of people going through checking them...

Upcoming Gigs: Arcane Roots, Polar, Mongol Horde, Hundredth, The Bronx, Pearl Jam, Converge, Superheaven, Heights, Parkway Drive
Re: Fanteamz
Can't expect a whole dedicated team to do it. Might be worth the admin here helping out though. Will ask.

I did this last year for Bloodstock & managed to win a pair of tickets, the Sonisphere system for point scoring doesn't look as great but I'll give it a bash!
