I'd give it time before saying that, plenty of time for soni to book generic deathcore bands :P

frakking hell, are there that many of them? I'd have though Download would have exhausted the supply of gooseberry by now.

I like the idea of Weezer playing the same venue as Slayer. It adds some nice variety. Non-stop hard metal will get tiresome. Ha

Happened in 2011. I like diversity in the lineup, I don't listen to as much heavy stuff as I used to but, in my experience, rock and metal festivals have a better atmosphere than other kinds of festivals.

Weezer were quite good fun in 2011. I have no interest in their music but they're entertaining at least. My favourite moment of their set was when the singer was saying "I see you", including "People in the toilets, I see you" and then the big screens showed the portaloos just as a bemused looking guy stepped out of one.

I must say, I wasn't that impressed with a few of the announcements, but the last one has enough bands to attract me to going. There's always the smaller bands and half the fun of festivals for me is discovering new bands I haven't heard of before. :music-rockon:

I'm seriously on a crusade this year, metalicbear will NOT claim that RATM are a strong rumour for anything. Not this year. Not on my watch.
