I find myself overwhelmingly sceptical.

I thought it was alright, enjoyed it more than Wrath, but it's certainly not as good as sacrament or Ashes of the wake imo...that being said I don't really listen to them anymore, so maybe it's just my taste has changed.

Yeah I think my taste has changed too, a couple of years ago I would've loved it I'm sure. But I didn't hear anything on there that was better than Wrath, there was a lot similar to it and maybe on a par with it. Nowt special though.

I really enjoyed it. Not as good as Wrath, but much better than Sacrament at least (I really don't like that album very much).

I love how the album starts with that first track leading into the second one. The closer is awesome as well, really different for LOG.

My primary beef is there are too many songs, which of course leads to filler.

Agreed with there being too many songs, got kinda bored and was a bit samey towards the end. Only listened to it once through though so will get it on my ipod and listen to it some more, it took a while for Wrath to make an impression on me so I'll stick with it.

really like it. They're probably my favourite band, and whenever a band I love releases a new album, I'm always a bit wary that it won't match up to the rest.

IMO, it's not their best, but it's still a really good addition to their catalogue. Was hoping for an amazing album to push them up into the serious contenders category, and doubt it'll do that as there's no Redneck/Laid To Rest single that will be huge (to my ears anyway) but still more than happy with it. :)

I prefer Wrath to be fair, it's got some great bits on it. Ghost Walking is an absolute banger, but other then that i find the last 3/4 songs on the album a bit samey and dragging on. Overall I'd give it about 7/10

Different? To me it sounds like a not-as-good approximation of the stuff they've done many times before :? I like the album, it's decent enough, but to me their vein of original song writing has run dry.
