Evile - Five Serpent's Teeth

Postby ImmortallyInsane101 » Sat Oct 01, 2011 5:19 pm

Evile have released their third studio album 'Five Serpent's Teeth'. I bought it the other day and it's brilliant, it's not exactly different to either of their last two albums but I guess you know what you're getting with this band. Here's the video for the first single from it:

I didn't like it. The songs sound slightly better live, but still not great.

I thought it was quite awesome.

They seem to have come out of their generic thrash metal shell a bit more, and weren't affraid to try new ideas and sounds with this album. The guys voice got on my nerves a bit, but it was outweighed by the sick riffage and bitching solo's that were on offer.

This album won't change the world or anything, but its worth a listen if you like underground thrash metal.

They're from Huddersfield, we've barely moved out of caves.

I wouldn't exactly call them mainstream.

They have small and dedicated fan base, album sales are only in the thousands, they only play small venues and clubs, and they never play outdoor stages at major festivals. They are underground.
