The gig was frakking sweet, sound was perfect, strobe lights were blinding and the set had plenty of surprises, like as i'm sure you all know, Gary Numan came out and played 2 songs with them.

Again... the setlist.

Now I’m Nothing (which was written just so he could go from something soft into terrible lie)
Terrible Lie
1,000,000
Heresy
March of the Pigs
Reptile
The Becoming
I’m Afraid Of Americans (David Bowie cover)
Burn
Gave Up
La Mer
The Fragile
Non-Entity
The Big Come Down
The Downward Spiral
Wish
Survivalism
Down In It
Metal (w/ Gary Numan)
Cars (w/ Gary Numan)
The Hand That Feeds
Head Like A Hole
—–
Hurt

Was truly an immense gig but i did think it sagged a little in the middle. I'm hoping that as their Sonisphere set will be shorter they'll play a leaner meaner set.

I've been watching the Woodstock performance and wish they'd come out at Sonisphere soaked in mud - oh, Trent, why did you have to grow up?

Very disappointed. Didn't go in a fan but was wanting to be swayed. Didn't happen. A friend I was with was a big NIN fan and wasn't impressed either.
Seemed to impress the die hards though.

I liked the set, Wish was awesome and started some pits (which helped me get closer to the front)

But i was a bit dissapointed, first of all they were on atleast 5 - 10 minutes late, and then he finished the set 5 minutes early...

I also felt they seemed a bit distant and moody, throughout, barely spoke and left with barely a good bye.

The set itself was good but lacked the hits - which dissapointed many, Something I can never have was awesome though. And it was rumoured trent did this on purpose cos he knew he was playing to a metallica crowd, so decided to stay clear of the heavier stuff besides Wish. Strill i suppose the slower stuff was more suited to the last ever EU show. Just thought it lacked a bit of pow you know

Ah, I saw you stop at the front of the moshpit and then I didn't see you for the rest - was wondering where you'd go to :P

Yeah, the length was disappointing (that's what she said :D )

I loved it but would rather have been further back - everyone near the front seemed to only want to mosh - we could've seen more of Alice In Chains :?
Benjball (on here) wasn't much of a fan but then when I saw him after he said it was the performance of the festival! :o So it's not only the diehard fans that enjoyed it :)

The moshing calmed down a bit where I got to, but yeah it was still a great performance, I just would have liked just a bit more, even if it was just a song or 2 (to make up for the lost time!). The little instrumental interludes were pretty awesome aswell.

I think it all got to Trent a fair bit, which might have been why he wasn't saying too much. He was wiping a tear away after one song (think it was Lights In The Sky).

This photo, taken just after he finished, sums it up for me:
