So, on the eve of my nineteenth festival, thinking back to those long-ago times when I'd be listening to Tommy Vance on the night before Donington, those crazy Reading festivals when you'd be worried about the Sunday night riot, Ozzfests, Downloads, and hell, even the London Jazz Festival back when I tried to grow a styled goatee.

Still feeling like the 15 year old before my first festival... Can't wait, but don't want it to be over too soon...

I have packed. I have refuelled the zombie response van. I have my ticket next to my wallet, so I don't forget it. I am ready. See you all in the afternoon.

I went to a few 1 day music fests but Soni will be my first 3 day-er. Besides Woodstock, I didn't even know fests like this existed.

Its gonna be fuuuuunnnnnnn!!!!!

It's our first proper one and I think you've summed it up. Should still be sleeping but I was awake at 5 :music-rockon: like a kid on Xmas morning :music-rockon:
Right, last minute bits now and when everyone's ready, off to Mc D's for a hearty brekkie - May as well start right.

Working half a day today. Hitting the road in a few hours. :)
Let's hope I sleep the entire flight. I woke up at 3:30 am this morning, my mind was running....

Got home at 2.45 a.m. bleary eyed but still buzzing from Metallica. We all had such a great weekend and met some very lovely people. Roll on Knebworth 2015 :music-rockon:

We had a great time again this year. Was good to bump into you again Amanda - although we never did end up finding your camp!

On a side note - the one thing we said to each other was that couldn't we have been given the Wifi code in the RR barns so we could access internet should we want to? It wouldn't cost Sonisphere, as it already exists.

Just a thought...

Oh, and I wished I'd remembered to start the car periodically throughout the fest. Being up and ready to go at 5.30am and waiting for some help from someone for four hours isn't the best way to end it!!!! Big thanks to the guy in the Land Rover for saving us though. Saved us trying to get the RAC out

Roll on next time!!!!

Epic weekend. The VIPERS made it worth the trip alone. I'm a little bummed that I couldn't take Aaron home with me. Lol
I must return next year.

Hey Eddie, you and your crew were magnificent and we all loved showing off our festival to you. The ladies were a bit swoonsome, but that generally happens when you guys fly over to hand out silk stockings and Hershey Bars ;)
