Festival Packs

Postby Midlandcanary » Mon Apr 18, 2011 1:14 pm

Hi Guys,

I'm looking at treating myself to a new tent and sleeping bag and I found this website :

http://www.rutlandoutdoor.com/c/735/Festival.html

Looks good and not too expensive for two people? Also Looks like a proper tent rather than an asda crappy one

Help :confusion-helpsos:

Does this look a good deal? I think it does! Looks very good quality set (better than halfords etc) for a cheaper price....

yeah sure why not.

personally, i would rather pay a little extra and get it from somewhere i have dealt with before that i know can deliver. however, i live in the "highlands" apparently so it takes longer to deliver here.

so i stick to actual shops rather than internet sites.

but it's up to you.

On paper it looks like a good deal but I wouldn't go for it myself.

The sleeping bags are usually pretty thin & probably wouldn't keep you very warm. As for the tent, going by the picture I have the same tent only in a 4 man variety (swear it isn't called Eclipse though) and it's pretty good.

Your call really, but I wouldn't really consider those bundles myself.

Those bundles are normally cheap for a reason. Try and spend as much as you can on a decent tent and sleeping bag. It'll be worth it in the long run.
