Haven't started packing yet, but I have got a few bits together.

Tent, sleeping bag, airbed, poncho, hexi-stove and cooking gear, dusted the Download mud off my camping chair.

All i really need is tinned food and to pack my clothes.

Still undecided about getting a gazebo, I've a feeling i'll get caught out with it in early entry camping, need somewhere to sit where it rains :|

Starting to get bits together. Our group is doing all our food and drink shopping on the Thursday so that our families' fridges aren't cluttered for too long. Got my bag, tent, lights, sleeping bag, camping mat and other camping bits. Just need to sort camera, clothes, food and drink.

I'm staying at a mates house on Thursday so that on the Friday we can be picked up together and get out of Stoke ASAP.

Been collecting things from texco for the past month or so. Packed last week, everything except clothes (which have been sorted and put to one side), and will repack next wednesday to make sure i haven't forgotten anything.

ARE YOU KIDDING!

We packed everything in roller kit bag and vac bags two weeks ago! We've just got the hexi stoves today, so apart from beer and toilet roll we're all sorted. even had a dry run with the tents to make sure we could function in them!

got my bag, sleeping bag and tent ready.

and my friday costume + some random facepaints on those occasions I decide it would be lolz to wear some,

just need food and to decide which clothes to wear - which won't be sorted till next wednesday when me and my mates take a trip to Brighton to get any supplies we have yet to purchase.

otherwise, Tesco when we arrive in Stevenage 8-)

Started doing this about 4 months ago, haha. Just collecting little bits and bobs each month before i was totally skint, and the ever present list of items being checked off. Tent got an airing a few months back, sleeping bag got fought back into its stuff sack.

Think i'm pretty much sorted now, had a trial pack with about 90% of my stuff a month ago and could barely stand up with bag on, so the new rethink will be trialled this weekend, with a list of stuff i can dispose of at the end of the fest and not have to bring back again.

I've got to be able to walk to the train station with it all, and be able to change trains twice on the way too, so can't be too awkward. Plus as i'm going as staff this year i have to be there from the wednesday, so need enough stuff for 5 nights.

Food/drink shop will be done after set up in the camp wednesday afternoon, then i will sit back and relax watching as you fine fine people start arriving on the thursday (although as staff we may be helping you all set up too, not sure yet).

Either way, woooohoooo less than a week away (for me anyway)!!!
Sonisphere 2009 and 10 DID indeed rock - anyone coming for the weekend this year please use my FMC code to get some exclusive goodies! Thanks in anticipation...

we;ve been buying stuff for months, pasta packs, rice packs, anything in tins but there is 4 of us to carry the stuff. Got a rugby kit bag - they're huge and have wheels - got all 3 tents, chairs, mattresses and kettle in it! Then just rucksacks for the rest of us - oh and of course the metal shopping basket which doesn't fit into anything to put the hexis and bbqs on - so it you see a woman with three blokes and shes carrying a shopping basket full of stuff - that'll be me! lol
got hot drinks sorted by going to pound land and buying instant ones in cups - saves space and no need for cups
this time next week i'll be on my way - woohoo!

I have a tent, sleeping bag, rucksack, festival ticket, locker voucher, coach ticket, phone car charger. I'm going to buy food/toiletries on Tuesday or Wednesday and I'll get a camping stool as well because there's a place along the road from me that sells them for £2. I'll start packing Tuesday or Wednesday.

OMG, I am apparently going camping with 2 gentlemen. Basically, 2 guys who my mate works with are camping with us, and they've got early entry, so they're going down on Thursday, and are taking our tents and stuff with them, so that they can set up camp (if they're allowed, if not they can keep the stuff in their car I suppose). Aren't they lovely to offer to do that?? So I'm getting my tent and stuff ready for my mate to pick up later, to give to the guys when she sees them tomorrow. Means all I'll need to take is clothes, food and drink.

I'll just pack on Thursday afternoon. Various odds and sods are ready in the garage. Had a minor panic when one of my tent pole tips went missing yesterday, it meant the tent wouldn't stay up! A quick trip to Craigdon Mountain sports sorted that out though. <<wipes brow>>

I bought some stuff today:

Clearasil face wipes
8-pack of various mini-cereal boxes
2-litre bottle of water
Anti-bacterial handwash
Socks
F1 Racing magazine (to read on the bus down)

I still have to buy some vodka (I forgot my ID when I went into town today  ), smaller bottles of water, some cereal bars or some starburst and then mabye some wet wipes. I also need to buy a camping stool but I'll do that seperately.
