I'm like that with Wigan. 6-7 players out for our game with Castleford in June. Stupid if you ask me.

Union is all about internationals though, the 6 nations goes on all the way through the season, with teams missing 2,3,4 of their star players for several games, not just one.

To be fair the Six nations you miss 1 maybe 2 premiership games, most of them are Anglo-Welsh Cup matches, where most teams just don't care about it anyway. Saints for example played their 2nd tier sides to blood them up in that competition.

Anyone watching the Leeds - Crusaders match on BBC? really good match, could have gone either way, some utterly amazing tries. 9 tries, a sending off, eventful

I'm going ;) Does have the potential to be a close game, like the ones in the league. However, if Wigan turn up, I'd guess at least a 10 point gap.

Really good game in the end. Was worried we'd be embarrassed when it was 16 - 0, but was on the edge of my seat for a fair bit

Well, bet you're happy today, beating Warrington in a great game. Hope we can beat Saints tomorrow and then it's be Wembley 2.0 ;)

Dear god, I've just about calmed sown now. Seriously that's probably the best match I've ever seen (and I said that with 5 none left before I knew the result)

I'm in Edinburgh that weekend, I'll need to find a pub that will put the rhinos on

I was well mortified at the Leeds - Wire game. Deserved winners of the Grand Final though. What you reckon of Englands chances against Oz next week. Personally think we will get annhilated.

More than likely. actually missed the Wales game, but sounds like there was far too many unforced errors. can't do that against Australia.

What's anyone think about the England - Australia game at the weekend? I'm more confident than I was at the start of the tournament, after the game against New Zealand, best I've seen England play in a long time. and would just love to ruin Lockyers final game

Aussies are still massive favourites even missing Billy Slater though.

Christ, this threads been dredged up from the dead!

Yeah, should be good. Can't see Wigan being the same force without tomkins, and looking forward to seeing how Tom Briscoe fits in at Leeds. Hall and Briscoe on the wings, should be a fair few points there....

HEHE just having a mooch.

Aye, but that Bowen Fella theyve got is supposed to be quite handy . I think they'll miss Richards more personally. Briscoe wasn't the same last year from what i saw BUT i think it was around the time there was a lot of chat of a move to you so maybe his head went. Definately capable though. You bothering with a hooker this year?

Yeah, we signed Paul Aiton from Wakefield, dunno much about him myself. Might not play much more of a role than Paul Mcshane did.

Wonder how Salford will get on, could do really well, or just fail to gel and collapse.
