Saints fan reporting in, great season so far us, bit rocky at first but I think we've found the right formula for our new coach/ground/squad/etc. I know hybrid theorist is a big Rhinos fan, I imagine he'll be in this thread before long :p

Nazi salutes? You've lost me there :? I think we will miss his defense, but one of the youngsters will step up and burst into the scene this year, like Farrell and Tuson last year. Think you'll miss Eastmond, and probably Graham?

Yeah, when he's about to convert he puts his arm up to mark his line and it looks like he's heiling. It amsued me and my dad at the Grand Final last year. Not insinuating at all that he is a member of the National Socialist German Workers' Party of course :P
Eastmond's departure has let newer talent step up, namely Jamie Foster, who has the potential to be one of the best kickers of all time. But with Eastmond leaving on a bit of a sour note, I don't think anyone's gonna be missing him anytime soon.
And if Graham leaves I will actually cry.

That was Mark Riddell, after Pat went off injured. Eastmond, on his day, could change games though. I certainly won't miss him come October ;) And Graham leaving will be another massive blow for you. If Roby leaves anytime soon I'll cry...with laughter

Riddell! Bollocks, I'm terrible with names!
To my knowledge Graham is still toying with the idea of moving to Australia, but seeing how unpopular Eastmond became after announcing he was leaving it might make him think twice, at least until the end of the season :P
Roby's definately not going anywhere. I'll shoot him in the kneecaps if he does - if we can't have him, no one can!

Don't know. But we need a right kick up the backside if we want to finish at the top. The season can't be won in April, but it can be lost :-x

Not so much of a follower of rugby league. I do like to watch it though and I used to be a bit of a Warrington Wolves fan. :character-willie:

aye, I'm a Leeds fan, not doing so great but we're missing a lot of players right now. be interesting to see us with Peacock, Mcguire etc back

think this might be Peacocks last year, his signing is the one that turned us into a dominant force, so we'll have to see how we do when he leaves.

btw, was out last night (and leeds are playing tomorrow) so only just checked the scores this minute. jesus christ, Catalans murdered Wigan! didnt see that coming

Far to easy to turn over the ball in league. Union has an intensity and spark that league doesn't to me.

Imo its too hard in union, teams don't try anything exciting cos they're far too frightened of losing the ball. Either way, every time someone mentions league you've gotta stick your oar in and act all superior, even though you love the inferior code, and i don't know why, so just leave it yeh?
You never have anything to say other than "trololol union blah blah blah"

And yes I am in a bad mood cos Leeds just lost to KR. I'm actually not sure why we have touch judges seen as they can't tell if a pass has gone 3 yards forward even though the wingers caught it 6 feet from him.

He's right. The name of the thread is Rugby League, not Official League vs. Union Thread.

Wow the more obvious the trolling the easier it works XD

I don't dislike league if I'm completely honest, it's just no my thing. Also I disagree entirely with the idea of not trying anything. I see some crazy moves being played all the time. It's truly a wonder to behold sometimes.

I'll put League on if it's on, God knows even League is better than football. :P

I think that is more the case with Club rugby in union though. Internationals just seem happy to use the forwards/kick (with a few exceptions)

Wigan picked a good weekend to lose then ;) Leeds will be alot better when you get the injured back.

Think that's a fair. point, most union games at club level seem to have BOTH teams scoring tries!
