Monaco should offer up a bit of carnage, someone always clips the barriers, and they've got 24 cars, 6 of which will be mobile chicanes after about 10 laps, with very few places for them to even move over to let the faster cars through. Can see a few safety cars this weekend. How good would it be if it was raining too! I want rain every race, they are so much more fun.
Sonisphere 2009 and 10 DID indeed rock - anyone coming for the weekend this year please use my FMC code to get some exclusive goodies! Thanks in anticipation...

Season so far has been...inconsistent

Glad the Canadian GP was back, needed a mental race and it always delivers

Wonder who'll be on top in Valencia this weekend

That crash was insane, amazed that Webber just walked away no problem. Missed the last 10/15 lap as I went to a pub for the england match, anything else rediculous happen?

Exciting race today - Red Bull Racing have a few clouds above 'em - good drives from those in the top 6

Move of the race was probably Rosberg on Algesauri or Vettel on Sutil

No doubt this has been discussed before but the points they give out are ridiculous, 25 points for a win :/

I prefer the new point system. It gives the drivers a bigger incentive to push on for the win rather then thinking "Second is good enough, I'll just back off". Makes it a much better for the viewers :)

Just like the old boring times of Schumacher and Barrichello huh? It was ridiculous though, Massa's pace was fast enough to stop Alonso from backing into Vettel and neither driver have a major shot at the title anyway. Alonso will have to win pretty much every race from now on to have a chance of winning the championship. I can't believe after the Schumacher-Ferrari days of team rules and introducing a ban to them that all Ferrari got was a £100,000 fine. Both cars should have been banned for cheating, at the end of the day it's fixing a result and in other sports it is punished severly (Juventus being relegated to Serie B in 2006). Anyway rant over, Good Result for Hamilton gaining points over Button and Webber

From what I've read, the matter has been referred to the FIA/World Council for Motorsport. A better story would've been Massa taking his first win since his accident 1 year ago.

Alonso's a class act - he shouldn't need assistance from the pitwall to win. It'll be interesting to see how the season pans out for Ferrari from hereonin

Yeah Alonso is known as the best all-round driver in F1 so if he is good enough then he shouldn't need the help. I felt for Massa in the drivers conference after and you could tell he was biting his tongue, he deserved the win and after the anniversary of his crash should have had it.

Exactly

I thought the German GP would've produced more overtaking and fighting - had some corkers there in the past (2004 comes to mind). Think it's Hungary next...not a fan of that one as it always produces dull processional races

I bet you're only saying that because you're a Hamilton bummer.

I am very angry about what happened on Sunday. Fernando Alonso doesn't need that kind of help and Massa shouldn't be the meek yes-man at Ferrari. Felipe Massa looked like the child whose told by his dad to stop playing with the toys because big brother wants to play with them now. This is a guy that grew up worshipping Ayrton Senna and learnt everything he knows from Michael Schumacher but he puts up with this? Senna would never have given up a race victory for anyone without an almighty struggle, and I can't imagine Alonso letting Massa pass him like that. I was hoping Ferrari would have their constructors points docked but they've got away with a fine that's like fining me 5p. Hopefully the WMC will take a harder line with them, but I doubt it.

Maybe before his crash last year Massa wouldn't have allowed him through because he was confident and consistantly quick. But since he's returned he has been slow and error prone. He must feel like the luckiest guy in the world given that Ferrari gave him a new contract after his recent performances when they could have easily got a better driver in Kubica to take his place. After what he has been through the last 12 months it is disgusting that Ferrari would not allow him to win. Also I'm sorry but Alonso would take a win like that everytime, he is an arrogant rat-a-tat-tat will do anything to win (e.g. staying in the pit box when Hamilton was waiting behind him so he could not get out in time to do a flying lap). To further prove my point his attitude in the car is bad to. Yes Hamilton may have slowed him down and therefore Alonso got stuck behind the safety car but Hamilton took his punishment but did that stop Alonso complaining? No. He even tells his race engineer that he doesn't want radio for the rest of the race. He should grow up and be the professional he is ment to be.

Alonso was moaning throughout the race and almost always has a troublesome with relationship with whoever he is driving for. Hes had god knows how many incidents with other drivers over the years.

I thought that was ingenious. If Senna had done it then the world's media would have queuing up to give him BJ.

To be fair I think he just wanted to focus on the race rather than have any unnecessary distractions.
