The mighty AFC Bournemouth. Who are on ITV this Saturday. Getting absolutely destroyed by Liverpool.

I don't understand American football at all, more after the break.

COME TO POPEYES, WHITE CHICKEN MEAT COATED IN OUR SECRET RECIPE, FEED THE FAMILY!

Image

I've tried understanding it, but I just can't .... I mean, they spend 40% of the time talking, 50% of the time taking commercial breaks, and .. oh, hang on a sec...

Do you suffer from erectile dysfunction? Talk to your doctor today and ask him to prescribe you Viagra.

Image

It's not a sport. Any American sport has been created around the absurd frequency of commercial breaks on TV, and as such is impossible to get into or spectate rationally.

 When they're playing it's great to watch. I don't think theres anything in sport more exciting than the end of a NFL game when a team goes in to 2 min offence to try to win. It's not even that complicated I'd say it's much simpler than Rugby. I went to the Steelers Vikings Wembley game last year and the atmosphere there was just incredible, can't think of a sporting event I've been to that can match that.

My brother watches loads of NFL, he sometimes even watches college games. but he tivos it and watches it in less than half the time. If he really wanted to, I'm sure he could make it a third of the time.

mental.

It's quite a good sport, but it's so stop start it ruins it.

I kind of like that. Time to go grab a beer/whatever.

Also Sky use half the adbreaks to show redzone. (Highlights from other games) which is decent.
