Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 1)

Postby triaxis » Wed Nov 10, 2010 10:34 am

Booked mine and the wife's tickets for this yesterday for opening night next Friday - Lucy's a big fan of the Harry Potter series

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I'll see it but I'm not excited about it... all the teen actors are horrifically terrible, makes me tear my eyes out every film.
but it's worth seeing for all the impressive things, and Rickman (snape) is always awesome.

Will be going to see it on the day as well. Quality set of books. Films aren't the greatest since OotF

I wasn't a huge fan of Order of the Phoenix - Chamber of Secrets and Goblet of Fire are in my view the best ones to date. Should really read the books as well

I am looking forward to this, but I think books are alot better than film is. I've not read the Deathly Hallows yet but have heard it's great.

"Part 1" - they could just say "We'll make more money out of this!"...

Seen it. Enjoyed it. Dagnabbit it at having to wait 9 months for part 2

Apparently there's inconsistencies with the book - can't really comment as I've not read it!

Was guttered at the lack of the good actors in this one. Though I should have known what to expect really. It's very teen heavy.

Scary dust Dumbledore did make me jump though.
