Classic horror movie fans?

Postby Fade » Mon Oct 11, 2010 9:55 pm

BBC4 Now!

Mark Gatiss in a docu on the greats followed by "Bride Of Frankenstein"...

The docu gets repeated later (I know it's only got 5 minutes left, I only just found out!) as does the movie in a few days... But I think it's gonna be a season over the next few Mondays...

Second ep also awesome! (also on iPlayer...)

Although why they were using the (again awesome!) music from Susipiria over advertising the American shiz I don't know :P

Yeah, he's presenting it well & there's at least one movie in there we still wouldn't know about if he wasn't involved (I really want to see it now!)...

Also he wrote the best Ecclestone Dr Who ep...

Seeing this thread pop up reminded me that I watched The Fly and Invasion of the Body Snatchers this weekend. They just don't do gore how they used to!!!

I don't remember body snatchers being that gorey! (it has been a while though!) The Fly yes, at least the Cronnenberg version anyway :P

You want gore? Have ya seen Braindead?

As a slightly off topic slant, Mystery Science Theatre 3000 = awesome!

(Just wish they could release it on DVD)
