Don't worry about it, that rumour's been going round for a while but there's been no evidence to back it up :)

I don't see it on the BBC... and the only other places I've seen it have been quoting The Sun... and now your insider knowledge :P
Forgive me for being cynical about the rumours, but I can't help it with rumours such as a film (with Johnny Depp as the Doctor) and Eric Cantona playing a bad guy (simply because Matt Smith mentioned it'd be cool) flying around :P

Karen Gillan has insisted that Matt Smith has no plans to leave Doctor Who.

Earlier this month, reports suggested that Smith was planning to quit his role as the Doctor to pursue a film career.

However, The Daily Telegraph reports that Gillan has now dismissed the claims.

"Matt will be sticking around," she said. "I think those rumours were made up."

Gillan, who plays the Doctor's companion Amy, also revealed that filming for the Doctor Who Christmas special is under way and described the atmosphere on set as "great".

Hope so... :)

Depending on the source, the Timelord Council granted him more as he was a very effective soldier in the Time War. I'm sure they'll come up with some Phlebotinum so he carries on. Though I am still intrigued by the idea of Jenny taking over his role.

Damnit I was meant to keep that a secret

So... theories?

Seriously, if you don't want spoilers, don't look in here :P
Mega spoilerz | Show
The first thing to come to mind is that River's the baby, the child (who regenerates?), and in the spacesuit but that all seems to obvious and simple =/
The hooded figures are the headless monks who're working with Madame Kovarian to utilise Amy's baby (obviously with a timehead :P) as a weapon. Rory is the good man who goes to war for his wife (dressed as a roman) - River kills him? The Doctor calls in favours from around the Universe to help (including Sontarians, Silurians, and Cybermen). River doesn't go to war - she's the baby? The baby's called Melody - Melody/Song geddit? :P Apparently Dorium (the blue guy) turns out to be a bit of a hero.

That's everything I've picked up from the series, the couple of previews, and the last bit was from the actor who plays Dorium (the blue guy) :)
Oh, and Karen Gillan said that there's a revelation that we'd need the summer to recover from - River's identity probably :)

Also, don't forget to have this with you when you watch the next episode :P

So series finale on Saturday. What do people make of it? I think it's set up to be a fantastic episode. The last few episodes, on fact the whole second half of the series have been really on par so this one better live up to it.

Really? I've expected way more of a build up, the last few episodes seem to be chucked together with the usual defeat monsters and carry on the story a bit more at the end. The second half has been far worse than the first. I can see the finale being so rushed.

I thought totally the opposite actually. In The Girl Who Waited and the last two episodes the monsters were really just a side, with the focus being on the development of the character and their emotions, particularly the Doctor in the lead up to his death.
Although, I have to agree, trying to wrap it all up in a single length episode seems a bit optimistic. Unless there's an end of season cliffhanger. In which case I will personally hunt down Steven Moffatt.

Not too sure what to make of that ending, very very cramped into one episode, could have at least had it be an hour long or something. I can see the point of wanting to kill of the doctor and keep im alive because he 'became to big' just could have done it in a better way thats all.
