I thought Thor and LOTR couldn't have been done much better
Thor is my favourite marvel hero of all time and they did pretty well with it. They portrayed the character really well, with him being a jerk and having to turn his ways around. I know the storyline of him having to learn humility was different in the original comics but I guess some poetic license is needed. I also loved how they linked it to Cap America at the end of the credits ;)
LOTR was perfect though :P

Hmmm, I liked LOTR, but I have a mate that is very into the books and was livid with the way it was done...

I grew up reading those books, as did my older brothers - no idea how many times I've read them now - and couldn't have asked for a better job to be done. A hell of a lot was cut out but it had to be because of time. I mean each extended edition alone is over 4 hours! Personally they're my favourite films so I guess I'm just biased  Each to their own though I guess.

LOTR films are right good. I like the battle on two towers the bestttt.

That's pretty much the same age I read the Hobbit
Never read or watched the Da Vinci Code but then again it's never really interested me personally.
Can't wait to see the film rendition for Terry Pratchett's 'Going Postal' though, will be purchasing that one asap :D

I'm more into my fantasty etc :P
Terry Pratchett is the creator of the Discworld Series (if you've ever heard of it) and Going Postal is just one of the many many books he's written
For the past three years sky have done one of his books in film form - Hogfather, The Colour of Magic (Also included the story from The Light Fantastic~) and Going Postal. Cracking fantasty writer, very funny and sarcastic too :P

Had enough of that at school, its pointless. I dont bother arguing unless i know i'm right, which, being female, is most of the time ;)

Lazy's such a derogatory term for people who are efficient with their energy expenditure ;P

I've watched so much Dr Who today, it's got to have counted as at least one film :P

Transporter 2

utterly ridiculous, beyond stupid fight scenes, full of action film cliches (at one point after witnessing a crazy stunt, some alcoholic stares at his bottle, and throws it in the bin)
just crazy from start to finish

really enjoyed it

The first one's amazing, the second one's pretty good, the third one's terrible - there's emotions in the third one *shudder* :P

Last film I saw was '13 Assassins'. A showing at the local Art Centre.

Good film. 50% in depth plot, 50% sword flaying Samurai chopping scene.
