I watched the start of S.Darko, and then turned it off.

X - men origins: wolverine 8/10
fast and furious 6/10
gonna go see star trek hoping to give that at least 8 if not 9 or 10!! (even though its slightly cringeworthy that i wanna see it...)

X:Men Origins: 5/10. Leave your brain at the door, mindless action and stories already told in the other x-men films make this pointless, plus they totally fucked up Deadpool.

I completely agree with this.
Deadpool and Gambit are totally underused and wasted.

I heard they are planning spin-off Deadpool & Gambit movies...spin-off movies off a spin-off movie. Seriously, this current X-Men movie franchise needs to die now. Same as Spiderman.

I recently watched Southland tales, by the guy who did donnie darko, and much like that it's a proper frakk.
Confusing, but i really liked it, anyone else see it and know what the hell it's about?

oh, and billy madison for the 1,000th time.:D

Been meaning to watch Southland Tales for quite a while now - I'll pick it up next week after I get some money.

I think if you actively want to watch it, and are prepared to see The Rock, Jon lovitz, Justin Timberlake and Sean William Scott totally out of typecast, then you'll probably appreciate it.

Saw Star Trek last week which was sweet as, then saw angels and demons last night. Angels and demons was better than the da vinci code film, but once again it did not live up to the book. =(

i couldnt sleep last night so i flicked through what movies were on virgin movies on demand, there was one called 'mystery movie' which was 99p and the blurb was just like 'stuck for something to watch? let us pick your film for you. you wont know what it is til you buy it!'
so i was like, meh it's only 99p, and it ended up being something called The Girl In The Park, about a little 3 year old girl that goes missing for sixteen years and her mum went psycho after her dissapearance (i know i've spelt that wrong idc) and then one day, when the girl would be 19, the mum is having breakfast in a cafe and theres a girl there that looks like her daughter, and she was crying cos she'd just got dumped or something, and the mum came over and like made friends with her and gave her £700 for no reason! the girl had no idea who she was! random! anyway, throughout the whole film you think that the girl she met is actually her daughter, then in the last 3 minutes of the film you find out she's not.

i was like arrrrgh!
anyway, it was a pretty crap film but it was ok for 99p and at 2 in the morning.

X-Men Origins:Wolverine

It was pretty good though i felt they could have done more with it, and Gambit was barely in it.

Let the Right One In - 10/10

Best film of 2009 by frakking miles, and only the 2nd perfect score I've ever given to a film. (The first was Darren Aronofsky's The Fountain)
