Archer

Postby NYMdelaney » Sat Mar 10, 2012 9:42 pm

Anyone else on here fans of Archer? My friends got me watching it and I can't get enough.
So many brilliant quotes from 2 short seasons so far, and a completely different take on spy comedies

I love it, watched the first 2 seasons in a couple of days, got hooked. Currently holding out on watching the new ones so I can watch a few at a time.

The 3 part mini series between seasons 2 and 3 is a bit tedious in places but does set up well for 3, which has some of the best episodes so far. Just ordered Sterling Archer's guide to espionage (can't remember what it's actually called) and having a day of watching the episodes over again

Yeah I watched the mini series, was alright but not as good as the main series. Will probably start on S3 soon, hope it's as good as the previous.

If you can, check out the book, its about a fiver on amazon and written exactly how you'd expect archer to write a guide to spying

Seasons 1 & 2 are good
Season 3 is the best
Season 4 gets a bit tired
Season 5 they completely changed the format which is great and they seem to be building up to something massively awesome.

Wouldn't really say they've changed the format at all it's essentially the same as the other seasons! joke wise anyway which is pretty much what Archer is all about.

Watched Seasons 1, 2 and 3. Don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. Incredible stuff.

Yeah just watched up to date on Season 5, it's the same old Archer formula which I still enjoy, the new setting keeps it a bit fresh (or at least gives the illusion of freshness. I just hope they don't keep it going too long and wear the joke too thin.

Yeah, wasnt overly convinced by the complete change of setting, but if any show can do something that ridiculous, it's one thats ridiculous to start with.

Seems to be going ok anyway.
