Postby Monstar111 » Sun May 22, 2011 3:34 pm

Anyone got this game? I was thinking about getting it but was wondering if you guys had it and liked it or not. From all the hype it looks ace but what did you guys think?

A bit slow being.. the game has a slow feel to it or the missions take a while to get through/use to compared to other rockstar games?

It's just a slow game. If you're used to playing Halo and COD etc, then it may seem a little boring. It does to me ...

Ahh right gotcha.
Well I haven't played CoD or Halo in ages so won't make much difference to me.

I got a mixed set of games so might just fit in nicely :D

It's intensely story-driven. It's more like a cop-drama that has interactive bits than say, GTA or Red Dead (comparing it to other Rockstar games for obvious reasons) I'd say it resembles Heavy Rain if you have any experience of that, though without the annoying control system.

The graphics are pretty nice. There's been a few times that I've recognised the actor straight off based on the animations. The driving is nice too.

There is no "free-roam" aspect really. You either do the main mission or a side mission, there isn't much of anything else to do.

I'm enjoying it and I didn't think I would.

First impressions is that its a great game. Love the stories and the only downfall I can see is how slow it is compared to other games but that doesn't make the game bad for me. Pretty Sweet Game :)
