Sometime from next Monday would make sense. Going by previous years anyway.

Re: Rumours Roundup: 2014

I went and saw Dave Hause about a month ago now. He said he was playing uk festivals next summer. I reckon he will fit in at the Lock Up tent at Reading more than anything but would love to see him play soni.

Re: Monday 6th January Announcement

Looking forward to this. Not many certs I dont think either.

NIN and Airbourne are the most likely I reckon but will not be surprised if they don't end up on the line up.

Re: Red Bull/Jager Stages

I am a big fan of these stages. Always have potential to drag me away from main stages. Rival Sons were awesome in 2011!

Bleach Blood could end up on one of these.....new album on it's way!

Is Chas and Dave actually a strong rumour? Richard Cheese was epic that morning!

Personally hoping both QOTSA and Weezer play :)

Re: Sonisphere UK 2014

Weezer would be tatty bojangles. Their set at Reading a few years ago is still one of the best things I've seen at a festival, pure gold, and their soni performance wasn't far off. QotSA were the best I've seen them in years at Wembley but I can go without them if it means Weezer. That Weezer set w...

Fridays undercard will be interesting. Hoping it all isint based around Prodigy.

Re: Final Headliner Announcement

The problem I have with the Prodigy at soni is there is no second stage alternative. Basically if you don't like the headliner you're gooseberry out of luck especially if Bohemia ends up full. Yeah spot on. I have no problem with Prodigy but a lot of people will not want to see them. The Bohemia he...

Re: Final Headliner Announcement

Jeez, not like the main stage headliner(s) are the only choice. Prodigy are ace live - one of the best pits I've been in - and got dragged by my camelbak by a crowd surfer. Haterz gonna hate  I imagine Bohemia will have a strong alternative on that night. Prodigy is a gamble for sure but one ...

Re: Final Headliner Announcement

Quite a big gamble for soni on their year back.......but they can afford to take the risk with the other headliners. I don't mind prodigy, saw them a few years back at Reading where they were good. What worries me a little is the undercard on Friday?? I'm hoping we don't have a prodigy themed dance ...

Re: Final Headliner Announcement

Please for the love of god don't be KoL I cant't see it being them at all. I expect a rock act tho as we have two metal bands already. Someone mentioned Whitesnake and/or ZZ Top.... That could be a good shout. Or it would be, if either band were big enough to be anywhere higher than third from top ...

Exactly. All comes down to personal taste as we'll of couse. I think headliners should be different every year saying that.

I did mean just campaign to get Metallica to play a single song. The campaign doesn't seem do demanding to everyone then.
